Michael Biljon

Head Brewer

With 16 years of commercial brewing experience and a Diploma in Brewing from the Chartered Institute of Brewing and Distilling, Michael leads the Brewhogs brewery with equal parts expertise, curiosity, and controlled chaos. As a brewer and tinkerer by nature, he believes great beer is born through experimentation, refinement, and stories worth sharing, one pint at a time.

When he’s not turning malt, hops, and yeast into something memorable, you’ll find him spending time with his family, playing guitar, gaming, or watching films.

Fun Fact: He makes Excel spreadsheets for fun.
Favourite Part of the Job: Recipe design and sharing a well-earned pint with the team after a brew day.

Nhlanhla “Lucky” Dludla

Assistant Manager & Filtration Expert

For Lucky, Brewhogs isn’t just a workplace, it’s a home. With more than a decade at the brewery, he prides himself on ensuring every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and part of the Brewhogs family. Whether he’s managing the floor, engaging with customers, or guiding brewery tours, his mission is simple: make every visitor leave with a smile, a story, and a newfound appreciation for great beer.

As the brewery’s filtration expert, Lucky plays a key role in perfecting every batch, ensuring clarity, quality, and consistency in every pour.

Fun Fact: His favourite part of hosting guests is when they enjoy themselves so much… they don’t want to leave.

Lungile Mjondo

Driver & Brewery Assistant

Lungile has spent over a decade behind the scenes at Brewhogs, witnessing the dedication, passion, and craft that goes into every pint. From supporting the brew team to ensuring customers are well-served, he takes great pride in being part of a brewery that pours excellence into every glass. For him, Brewhogs isn’t just about beer, it’s a shared spirit, a committed team, and a culture that puts quality and people first.

Fun Fact: He has a serious love for delicious burgers paired with handcrafted beers.

Simon Munyai

Brewery Assistant

Simon has been a dedicated member of the Brewhogs team for over a decade, assisting in the hands-on craft that brings each brew to life. When the brewery is quiet, you’ll find him unwinding at the beer-garden pond, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and feeding the ducks, a small reminder of the calm behind the craft.

Fun Fact: His happiest moments are seeing customers enjoy Brewhogs beer.
Favourite Part of the Job: Mixing the mash on brew day and milling malted barley.
Favourite Brewhogs Drink: While he doesn’t drink alcohol, he enjoys an occasional sip of Ginger Beer.
